La série SENKO-EI de Yu Kurosaki se caractérise par sa forme pointue - "EI (tranchant)" ou "EIJIN (couteau tranchant)" en japonais. Et la surface brillante a une texture martelée unique qui évoque de nombreux feux d'artifice, "SENKO".
Les lames sont fabriquées en acier inoxydable SG2 (Super Gold 2 ou R2) à micro-carbure, l'un des aciers de lame les plus durs au monde, offrant une excellente résistance à la rouille et un tranchant durable ainsi que sa beauté.
Le manche est en palissandre de forme octogonale avec une virole de buffle pour plus de beauté et de durabilité.
